Finding a great coffee with equally delicious cake and pudding options can be tricky. However, we think we have hit the jackpot with this newly opened cafe bar on Otley Road. Residence 74 is a cosy eatery with lots of great food and drink options.
For us, coffee is a must, so we opted for an Americano (can always judge a good coffee place by its Americano) and a flat white- which were both an ideal caffeine hit, and the so flat white was so pretty. Have a look at the coffee art below:

Great coffee that comes with a smile, and a Biscoff biscuit- what more could you need on a chilly afternoon? Well, how about cake?
With Greek roots, Residence 74 offers a range of special cakes for us all to enjoy. We each had a taste of their cinnamon walnut cake which I think was a 'Karydopita'. The cake was heavily spiced, with crunchy nut pieces throughout. In addition the cake had a sticky syrup base which made it that little bit more special. An ideal treat to enjoy with our coffees!

And, because we are super sweet toothed beings we also enjoyed the Residence 74 brownie cup. Now this is a dessert of chocolate lovers dreams. Sweet, slightly salty, warm and gooey brownie topped with rich vanilla ice cream and fresh raspberries. We will be dreaming of this for days to come, and are certainly going to have to go back to Residence 74 just to experience this taste sensation again! Just feast your eyes on this...

This cafe is an absolute must. Whether you are looking for a filling breakfast, a tasty brunch, a wholesome lunch or a decadent dessert, then this is the place for you. We also heard on the grape vine that Residence 74 may be hosting gin tasting evenings amogst other things too- so keep an eye out for more great things to come from this new kid on the block.
