Absurd Bird

Love chicken? Then you will adore Absurd Bird!

In Leeds, Absurd Bird can be found as a food truck in Trinity Kitchen. They specialize in crispy fried chicken, but they also serve grilled chicken salad, burgers, and waffles. The food truck is open for lunch and dinner every day.

We recently visited Absurd Bird and went pretty crazy as we just wanted to try everything! We will share the food with you over a few posts, but first we wanted to show you the 'Big Rooster'.

The 'Big Rooster', which as you can see from the photo lived up to its name, was recommended by the chef. The burger was made up of two fried chicken breasts (which were super moist with a crunchy coating), melted American cheese, bacon, crispy onions, salad, tomato & Absurd BBQ sauce (which was incredible).

Although we really enjoyed the burger, the crispy chicken became a little soggy because of the sauce, and the brioche bun was a too small which made eating the mamouth burger a challenge. However it would not put us off from ordering the Big Rooster again, or recommending it to other chicken lovers!
