Keen to kick off the bank holiday in style? Why not get stuck into Leeds Beer Week? This event made for beer lovers is being organised by the team at Whitelock’s and Turk’s Head. The same team recently hosted the successful Beer Festival, so Leeds Beer Week is sure to be epic. Not to be missed.

Leeds Beer Week launches on August 22nd, with the official Opening Party taking place at Turk’s Head. The party is being sponsored by some Leeds beer favourites including Northern Monk, Magic Rock, North Brew Co. and Five Points. Food is being put on by Bundobust - so look forward to lots of Bombay-based snacks, and music is being brought to the event by a live DJ.
Get there early because the first 100 half pints of LBW x North Brew Beer will be free will be free!
Leeds Beer Week proper will kick off on 23rd, and will go straight through to 31st August. The event will be city-wide, celebrating Leeds beer in style. Look forward to collaborations, new brews, music and food. What's not to love? The events will predominately take place in Turk's Head Yard, a large outdoor beer ‘garden’ shared by Whitelocks, and sister bar the Turk's Head.
Mikkeller Weekender at Turk's Head (Bank holiday weekend)
Mikkeller will takeover Turk's Head taps for the whole weekend, with lots of other great Mikkeller treats to enjoy including an exclusive new beer release which will add to the Spontan range. There will also be some actual Mikkeller brewers wandering around ready to give recommendations and answer questions. Head to the Turk's Head from 4pm to get involved.
Northern Monk Showcase (Wednesday 28th August)
Hosted by Whitelock’s, this mid week event will see Northern Monk beers take centre stage. Whitelock's will be showcasing a range of beers including some from Patrons Project, Old Flax Store ranges, and Mango Lassi Heathen. Northern Monk brewers will be at the event. Starts at 5pm.
Flanders Red Blending Session (Thursday 29th August)
The Flanders Red Blending Session at Turks Head is an experience for all beer lovers. Timmerman and Bourgogne des Flandres will teach you how to combine aged and new Flanders beers to create your own Flanders Red. You will also be able to enjoy special beers available exclusively for the event, plus a new, and rare Flanders blonde.
No tickets required. Just drop in from 4pm
