Krispy Kreme has officially opened at The Springs retail park in Leeds. Leeds Food Guide attended the press and influencer launch event and were lucky enough to try out some of the hand decorated and filled doughnuts that are freshly baked and delivered to the store each day.
The new Krispy Kreme store in the large retail park offers a selection of delicious doughnuts as well as hot and cold drinks. At the launch event Leeds Food Guide were able to try out, and dip and decorate some of the signature Original Glazed doughnuts - which were incredible! We also checked out some of the new doughnut flavors on offer including the Reeces Peanut Butter pie doughnut. Which, as you can imagine looked and tasted phenomenal.
With so many doughnut flavours on offer, there is always sure to be one that will tickle your taste buds. Personally I am keen to go back and try out their 'Banana Kreme Pie' which is a classic Krispy Kreme doughnut that is filled with banana and Lotus Biscoff Kreme (wow!) and is then hand dipped in Lotus Biscoff spread (my fav!) and finally is sprinkled with biscuit crumb and chocolate pieces. Too good to turn down!
Thorpe Park was already a major business park, but following approval of a mixed-use expansion plan in 2015, the Springs Retail park was developed. The retail park is close to junction 46 of the M1 and will even have a railway station (East Leeds Parkway) which will connect the shops to the city centre. Until the station opens there are great bus and road links to the stores.
Why not head to the new store to find a sweet treat for yourself? The store has long opening hours and is open at the weekends, so no excuses!
